The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. When The Two Rivers is attacked by Trollocs-a savage tribe of half-men, half-beasts- five villagers flee that night into a world they barely imagined, with new dangers waiting in the shadows and in the light. 

Why?

I had so many people telling me to read this series that I will love it. I really want to but it is a little intimidating since the series has so many books.

I plan to at least start it this year sometime and we go from there. I was the same with harry Dresden and ended loving it way too much and it is now one of my favorite series of all time.
