What Are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

Hello and welcome back friends 😁

Last week was one of the rare(Ish) times I had no new books to show, but yay I’m back this week with two more books. I’m sure one of them you can guess since I reread the first three main books on audio in preparation for this one 😂🤷‍♀️.

Okay lets start :

What Are you currently reading?

On audio I went back to The Witcher series… I’m only in like 20% but I’m already enjoying it and glad to be back and finishing this series .

The Tower of Swallows (The Witcher, #4)

The Witcher returns in this action-packed sequel to Baptism of Fire, in the New York Times bestselling series that inspired The Witcher video games.

The world has fallen into war. Ciri, the child of prophecy, has vanished. Hunted by friends and foes alike, she has taken on the guise of a petty bandit and lives free for the first time in her life.

But the net around her is closing. Geralt, the Witcher, has assembled a group of allies determined to rescue her. Both sides of the war have sent brutal mercenaries to hunt her down. Her crimes have made her famous.

There is only one place left to run.

The tower of swallows is waiting…

Hardcover, I finally made it to A Court of Silver Flames and so far I’m in love with it.. I love Nesta, I love being back in the Night court but with fresh new eyes and of course I love Cassian.

A Court of Silver Flames (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #4)

Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she’s struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can’t seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.

The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre’s Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta’s orbit. But her temper isn’t the only thing Cassian ignites. The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other.

Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.

Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance-and healing-in each other’s arms.

What did you recently finish reading?

The last book I finished was the audio of A Court of Wings and Ruin as a reread and I have to say even though it took me a while to get back through all three I’m so happy I did .I loved every minute of it and like them even more the second time around. There were many things I have forgotten over the years and even things I missed the first time around.

A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #3)

FEYRE WILL BRING VENGEANCE.

She has left the Night Court – and her High Lord – and is playing a deadly game of deceit. In the Spring Court, Tamlin is making deals with the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees, and Feyre is determined to uncover his plans. But to do so she must weave a web of lies, and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.

As mighty armies grapple for power, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords – and hunt for allies in unexpected places.

BUT WHILE WAR RAGES, IT IS HER HEART THAT WILL FACE THE GREATEST BATTLE.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I have a review copy I need to read but I already mentioned that one last WWW I did so I wont list it again….. but I after that I will TRY to read Chain of Iron, not sure if I be able too or change my mind but for now this is the plan.

Chain of Iron (The Last Hours, #2)

The Shadowhunters must catch a killer in Edwardian London in this dangerous and romantic sequel to the #1 New York Times bestselling novel Chain of Gold, from New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Cassandra Clare. Chain of Iron is a Shadowhunters novel.

Cordelia Carstairs seems to have everything she ever wanted. She’s engaged to marry James Herondale, the boy she has loved since childhood. She has a new life in London with her best friend Lucie Herondale and James’s charming companions, the Merry Thieves. She is about to be reunited with her beloved father. And she bears the sword Cortana, a legendary hero’s blade.

But the truth is far grimmer. James and Cordelia’s marriage is a lie, arranged to save Cordelia’s reputation. James is in love with the mysterious Grace Blackthorn whose brother, Jesse, died years ago in a terrible accident. Cortana burns Cordelia’s hand when she touches it, while her father has grown bitter and angry. And a serial murderer is targeting the Shadowhunters of London, killing under cover of darkness, then vanishing without a trace.

Together with the Merry Thieves, Cordelia, James, and Lucie must follow the trail of the knife-wielding killer through the city’s most dangerous streets. All the while, each is keeping a shocking secret: Lucie, that she plans to raise Jesse from the dead; Cordelia, that she has sworn a dangerous oath of loyalty to a mysterious power; and James, that he is being drawn further each night into the dark web of his grandfather, the arch-demon Belial. And that he himself may be the killer they seek.

I’m hoping to be back with at least one new book next week but who knows it all depends how my reading mood is and time.. how much time I have to read since I plan to finish up some flooring this weekend🤷‍♀️😁

As Always thanks for reading and see you soon 😁👋
